Sichuan Tours
The province Sichuan in South-West China lies embedded between 3 mountain ranges and is one of the largest provinces in China. The further west you go, the higher the sparsely populated, seemingly endless grasslands of the Tibetan Plateau rise into the dark blue sky. The Tibetan highlands of West Sichuan are rarely visited by western travelers, although they can be travelled without an official permit and are as scenic as the "real" Tibet. To the east of Sichuan, in the direction of Chongqing, the shallow, fertile Sichuan Basin with its subtropical climate stretches out. The scenic, cultural and culinary diversity makes Sichuan Province one of the most exciting provinces in China for travelers to visit. Probably the biggest celebrity of Sichuan province is the Panda Bear, which attracts millions of visitors to Sichuan every year. Of course, a visit to one of the Panda Reserves during a visit to Sichuan should not be missing. With the Great Buddha of Leshan, the 1300 years old Dazu Buddhist grottos and the archaeological excavation site of Sanxingdui, Sichuan is also a rewarding destination for the culturally interested. The Sichuan province is very easily accessible thanks to numerous direct flights from Europe. Below you will find a selection of Sichuan trips for your inspiration. We will be happy to help you organize your own personal Sichuan trip.
